Free Walking Peru the blue team has been in operation for five years and provides historical, fun and dynamic tours around the center of Cusco and bordering neighborhoods. We run 3 bi-lingual tours a day in English and Spanish at: 10am; 12:45pm; and 3:45pm, with each one having its own distinct route allowing you to see, visit and learn different facts, information and stories on Cusco. We meet at Plaza de Armas in front of the fountain. Look out for our team wearing blue polos!
Our guides are qualified professionals but more importantly people who are passionate about their work and really love what they do. We don’t charge a tour fee but do operate on tips, which means you decide what the tour is worth! Your tip covers the services and time of the guide and the work of the Free Walking Peru team (our guys in blue).
Qosqo Pacha Tour Free Walking Peru also works with students who are studying and training to become future tourist guides they are the ones you can also recognize by the fountain or in the corners of the main plaza de armas wearing our trendy BLUE TOPS their job is to find you and get in contact with our licensed tour guides . Your donations or tip at the end of the tour assists with their education fees ensuring that they have a bright future ahead of them. In addition to that Free Walking Peru donates 10% of its annual earnings in organizing a Chocolatada at the end of the year at Christmas. It is a traditional event that allows the poorest of children in Cusco to receive a gift, hot chocolate and pantone.
