The Cusco Walking Tour to See All the Sights in Cusco

We begin our tour at our meeting point in front of the Church of the Society of Jesus (Iglesia De La Compañia De Jesús) on Plaza de Armas next to Starbucks. Your guide will be wearing a grey t-shirt with our logo.

Firstly, we will give you an overview of how we are going to spend the afternoon together. We will be focusing on Inca and colonial architecture and the fascinating history of Cusco, of course. Besides, we will make a trip to the colourful San Pedro Market. Explore Cusco with all five senses – not just with your eyes and ears but with your tastebuds.

For the duration of the tour, we will explore the Cusco sights on foot. We will see the remains of ancient Cusco as well as examples of incredible Inca architecture that has stood the test of time. We will make stops at the old temple of the Virgins of the Sun and the Amaru Cancha. At the latter, you will have a chance to take some pictures with particularly friendly alpacas and llamas.

We will also pass by the exteriors of the Qoricancha Temple to hear about its historical and cultural importance.

Finally, we will then head to the San Pedro Market to explore and learn about our Agroandina products and local gastronomy. Enjoy touring the different sections of the market, while learning about traditional medicine and the sacred plants of the Incas. Also, experience the exotic flavours of the fruits native to our region. You will get to taste authentic Peruvian delights and explore the market like a local to truly get to know the culture of this region on our Cusco walking tour.
